The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team. As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and professional development initiatives within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating various training programs, managing learning resources, collaborating with key stakeholders, and providing administrative support for software support initiatives. What you’ll do…

  • Learning Program Coordination:
    • Coordinate logistics for learning sessions, including scheduling, venue selection, and participant communication.
    • Manage training records, evaluations, and feedback to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Learning Resource Management:
    • Maintain and update the learning management system (LMS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date learning content, course catalogs, and user profiles.
    • Monitor and track employee training progress, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Learning and Development Support:
    • Assist in conducting learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.
    • Support the development and implementation of employee development plans, career paths, and competency frameworks.
    • Assist in organizing and promoting internal knowledge-sharing events, workshops, and webinars.
  • Administrative Assistance for Software Support Initiatives:
    • Provide administrative assistance for software support initiatives, including managing user access, licenses, and permissions for software applications.
    • Assist in coordinating software training sessions, including scheduling, registration, and participant communication.
    • Maintain documentation and knowledge base materials related to software applications, troubleshooting procedures, and FAQs.
    • Collaborate with IT and software vendors to resolve technical issues, escalate problems, and track software-related requests.
    • Generate reports and maintain records related to software support initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional experience in multifamily housing, training experience preferred.
  • Extensive user experience with the Yardi platform, and the ability to troubleshoot everyday user issues within the software
  • Familiarity with software support initiatives and administrative tasks related to software applications is desirable.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and administering learning and development programs.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proven mastery with Yardi software is required.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to run with high level direction.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
