Our team is currently looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. This is a fabulous opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking technician to apply his or her skills in our production facility located in Osage, IA.
In this role, the successful candidate will dismantle defective industrial food production equipment and install new or repaired parts in accordance with factory and industry standards. They will work closely with other team members to meet company goals. MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and equipment.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of equipment.
- Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Preventative maintenance on equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
