Overview:
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist 1 to join our Patient Safety Specialists team.

Unit/Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the Patient Safety Specialist 1 implements patient safety programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Assesses reported safety events or risks, facilitates analysis, and recommends interventions.
  • Supports implementation of system patient safety programs, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Documents and prepares reports for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of educational patient safety programs.
  • Applies patient safety principles and methodology to moderately complex issues and problems; escalates more complex issues to department leadership.
  • Possesses novice/beginning to working level knowledge of subject matter.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 0 years’s additional relevant experience.
