We work with all levels of government, institutions and industry to educate and inform the public about this disability.
Job Description:
The Environmental Health Association of Quebec (EHAQ) is seeking a highly creative and experienced Educational Video Script Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, informative and concise scripts for educational videos that will be used to increase understanding of multiple chemical sensitivity for both our community and the general public.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and write engaging and informative scripts for educational videos
· Convert articles and data into video scripts
· Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
· Collaborate with educators and subject matter experts to develop content
· Adapt content for various audiences and learning styles
· Work with video production team to ensure scripts are effectively translated into engaging video content
· Review and edit scripts to ensure accuracy, clarity and coherence
· Keep up-to-date with educational trends and advances to ensure that content is current and relevant
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
· Proven experience as an Educational Video Script Writer or similar role
- Bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English.
· Strong research and writing skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to work collaboratively with educators and video production teams
· Ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences and learning styles
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Familiarity with educational best practices and trends
