Job Summary:

Teledyne Controls has an exciting opportunity as a Repair Customer Service Administrative Support in our Repair Customer Service Team located in El Segundo, CA. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting and managing the incoming receiving and outgoing shipping functions to cover the workload between both the receiving/shipping functions and up with the daily flow of activities.

Key Functions

  • Facilitate the expeditious processing of incoming repairs and outgoing shipping documents for Repair Customer Service.
  • Able to provide coverage to both the incoming receiving and outbound shipping data entry functions.
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
  • Enter data into various databases, spreadsheets and other company-maintained software.
  • Perform data entry into Sales Force and print associated documents such as airworthiness forms (8130), Maintenance Release and Certificate of Conformance
  • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
  • Store completed documents in electronic form (via scanning) and/or hard copy form in appropriate locations.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to Manager.
  • Maintain applicable logs.
  • Run and distribute reports as required.
  • Must be positive, proactive, and cordial and remain calm and collected during high pressure situations involving co-workers, workload, and inter-office demands.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

Preferred

  • Powerlink/XA/ experience
  • SalesForce knowledge helpful

California Pay Transparency Statement

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00 - $83,270.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
