Visual Merchandiser


 

Summary of Role:

Maximize the merchandise presentation in our shops onboard through elevated Visual Merchandising. The Traveling Visual Merchandiser will visit ships in an assigned geography (either day visits or sailings) to execute needed VM tasks and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review photos reviews that are submitted the 15th of each month with supervising Vis​ual Merchandising lead.
  • Prepare ship visit schedules; boarding list paperwork, etc.
  • Order/purchase/carry any needed props or VM materials for the ship visits (expensed back to the company).
  • Set up new merchandise displays, campaigns, new product introductions, and/or other needs.
  • Install/update window displays with props and provided Marketing materials.
  • Fill in stock from lockers as needed (partner with onboard teams for support).
  • Take photos of before/after to review with VM lead.
  • Mentor/train onboard teams for VM maintenance in between visits.

Requirements:

  • Previous Visual Merchandising experience, ideally in a multi product category retail environment
  • Previous cruise experience

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
