Position Title: Account Manager
Compensation: $28-35 per hour to start with increases as job duties increase
Part-time to start: 28-32 hours per month
Hygge Bookkeeping is a female-owned, faith-based business that’s on a mission to empower women to have a confident, comprehensive understanding of business finances. Our goal is to make every client we work with feel seen, heard, cared for, and supported in their financial journey. Our team culture centers around the Christian faith, though one of our core values is to be inclusive of all denominations. Our team is growing and we’re looking for our first Account Manager. This position involves frequent, direct communication with clients and internal bookkeepers as the main point of contact for both, 1:1 meetings with clients to review financial reports, and monthly (internal) bookkeeping quality control reviews. Note: this job will start small with no face-to-face client communication, but then grow into a client-facing position. This is a long-term W2 position.

Qualifications
- Associates or Higher and/or equivalent, relevant certification (Bookkeeper Launch certification for example) (required)
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification (required)
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Advanced certification (preferred, required once hired)
- Have your own computer with strong internet access (required)
- Live/work in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zone (required)
- Advanced bookkeeping experience (minimum one year required, two+ years preferred)
- Customer service experience (minimum one year preferred)
- Completion of Veronica Wasek's "Complete QBO Clean-up Course" or similar (preferred, required once hired)
- Experience with Asana, Dext, Google Drive, Keeper, Loom, and/or Notion (preferred)
- You're an outgoing "people-person" (preferred)
- Training in financial advisory and/or reading/advising on financial reports (preferred)
- Familiarity with Profit First (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Check Slack, Keeper, and Email daily
- Timely communication with Team HB
- Answer client questions and inquiries in a timely manner
- Proactively provide excellent customer service
- Perform monthly bookkeeping quality control reviews
- Follow up with Bookkeepers (if needed) to train/teach on any outstanding issues
- Prepare and publish monthly client financial reports
- Schedule monthly and/or quarterly client meetings
- Provide financial statement analysis during client meetings, keeping client goals in mind

- Create relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using both Notion and Loom
- Attend team meetings: Mondays at 9am CT
