This position will report to Category Manager - Wells for Thailand BU. The Wells category team is responsible for managing spending through development of strategies in alignment with Thailand BU and enterprise-wide business drivers and goals, while leveraging expertise in category planning, market analysis, sourcing, negotiation and supplier management. Category focus areas include Product Service Line (PSL) strategy development, Operational Excellence, Total Cost of Ownership, and leveraging Supplier Relationships.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- This position will manage several PSL's pertaining to Wells.
- Supports the development and execution of Wells category and contracting activities.
- Participates in the Annual Category and Contracting Plan processes incorporating business needs, market dynamics to high grade value adding opportunities and deliver a lower Total Cost of Ownership.
- Conduct spend segmentation and market intelligence for category and sub-categories in Wells.
- Delivery of category/contracting strategies through executed agreements and administration.
- Drive strategic initiatives within assigned spend portfolio through Strategic Sourcing and key Supplier Management initiatives.
- Management of internal and external customer relationships including development and administration of Service Quality and Advanced Supplier Relationship meetings.
- Coordinate with Global Category Management team as needed.
