This is a full-time pediatric postdoctoral fellowship position beginning mid-September 2014. This one-year position involves conducting therapy with children from a wide variety of medical services and providing consultation to select pediatric subspecialty clinics. There will also be an opportunity to conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children with chronic medical problems and to work with the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Se! rvice assessing children hospitalized with acute and chronic m! edical problems. The fellow will be involved in didactic training and have the opportunity to receive training in supervision of psychology interns. The position will be primarily clinical, but research opportunities are available. The position is housed within our Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic where currently there are 3 pediatric psychologists, one neuropsychologist, and 3 psychiatrists on staff.
This is a full-time benefits eligible position. Stipend is $40,000 per year.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of all PhD or PsyD requirements from an APA-approved clinical or counseling graduate program by the start of the fellowship
Completion of an APPIC- approved predoctoral internship program with specialized training and experience in pediatric psychology.
Psychology Resident License from the Utah Division of Professional and Occupational Licensing by the start of the fellowship
