A progressive bed hospital is inviting a BE/BC Psychiatrist to practice in a state-of-the-art facility in beautiful Utah. Utah offers a tremendous quality of life w! ith a wonderful climate, low cost of living and is a great place to call home!!
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
Regular discussions with patients about their problems; help them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions.
Long-term psychotherapy and counseling for patients.
Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems.
May also administer electroconvulsive therapy to those of their patients who do not respond to, or who cannot take, medications.
Qualifications:
Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Inpatient Services
Call schedule 1 night per week by phone and 1 weekend per month
Will cover Adults (Can see some Adolescents ! if interested)
