ViaEurope means smart Web-Apps & APIs combined with real warehouses, taking care of customs clearance for thousands of parcels each day, bringing products from all over the world to Europe!
ViaEurope is an e-logistics company born and raised in Amsterdam. Although we have been in the business of technology and logistics for five years already, the company still operates and grows with a start-up mindset. Technology is at the very core of ViaEurope’s strategy and is also behind our connected warehouses or e-HUBs which are located at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Liege Airport in Belgium, and Budapest in Hungary.
As ViaEurope continues scaling up there’s a growing complexity in our business operations. Every eHub is in a different location, with different operational setups and customs rules. One of the keys to our success is in making this complexity ‘smooth’. As a product team, we are responsible for turning this complexity into a successful and smoothly operating business.
As a product owner, you will work on different inquiries, features, and even other (bigger) roadmap items for which you will be responsible that are part of our service of digital customs clearance support. You will define backlog items and priorities using data-driven insights; present projects and milestones to stakeholders; eventually, become an expert on a part of the portal.
A pragmatic approach with curiosity drive and a desire to understand every part of the business as well as the drive to ask questions and find solutions will make you the best fit for our team.
How your week will look like?
There is not a boring moment in our team! You will collaborate independently with stakeholders on multiple topics and are expected to take full ownership of projects. To get an idea of project subjects: working on a new pricing mechanism, adjusting flight tracking with a new API partner, working with our logistics team on existing processes, or setting up new ones in new locations.

- Proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools to extract data insights from large datasets
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile teams (we're not a strict Agile team though)
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written English is a must, and Dutch is a plus
- Result-driven team player who also values transparent communication

- You enjoy being part of a fast-moving - scaling business
