Description: Center For Change is currently seeking to employ RECREATION THERAPIST (PT/PRN) -- OREM, UT right now, this occupation will be placed in Utah. Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. The Center is seeking a part-time Recreation Therapist to
collaborate with the Center's multidisciplinary treatment team in
providing leisure-skill building, service learning, and outdoor
leisure education experiences to patients.
Schedule:
4 hours each Sunday; PRN
opportunities available to cover other staff on Saturdays and some
week days.

with opportunities to explore feelings and expand their s! ense of self
through meaningful recreation therapy experiences.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement
recreation therapy interventions including leisure-skill building,
outdoor leisure education, service learning, and ropes and challenge
courses; transport patients to and from off-campus activities;
process experiences and report outcomes in progress notes.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy
Current CTRS and TRS Licensure in the State of Utah
Recreation Therapists are required to transport patients
using company vehicles. To qualify to drive company vehicles
Recreation Therapists must consent to a driving record check, and
must: be at least 20 years of age; have a valid driver license; have
no more than 2 at-fault accidents in the past three (3) years; have
no more than 3 moving violations during the past three (3) years;
and, have no driving while intoxicated (DWI) or driving under the
influence (DUI) convictions.
