Licensed Clinical Social Worker Responsible for providing social service functions in our acute Geriatric Psychiatry Department serving the patient population of age 55 and older.
Provides assessments, treatment and case management to patients and families. Provides healthcare referrals and community resources to patients and family members. Maintains performance improvement activities with in the department and participates in CQI activities. RequirementsMasters Degree in Social Work (LCSW)Successful completion of Social Work Certification exam.2 plus years of experience in all aspects of social service, with an emph! asis in psychiatric work.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Must have BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
PreferencesGeriatric experience preferred.Additional language skills preferred.Basic computer skills.
