Hospital is a new 80 bed facility serving the adolescent, adult, and
geriatric population. We are actively seeking a qualified Psych
APRN or Physician Assistant to share in the excitement of o! ur
growing hospital. Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is located in
Orem, Utah and is a member of Universal Health Services, Inc.

The Incumbent will manage mental
health consulting of patients in collaboration with the Program
Psychiatrist/Medical Director. This position will work with a
multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapists and nursing staff to
maximize care of the mental health patient.
Responsibilities include performing psych consults, monitoring
the medication process with pharmacist, educating
non-medical staff in understanding the role of medications in the
population, as well as attending appropriate ! clinical and
administrative meetings to meet clinical, edu! cational and quality
assurance goals.
Requirements
Utah licensed APRN trained in
psychiatric and mental health treatment.
