There is also opportunity for program leadership for interested physicians. Physician duties will include admission evaluations, treatment planning, treatment follow-up, and participation in medical administrative meetings as assigned. The position can be fulltime or part-time with Monday Friday schedule. A very competitive compensation packages will include salary, benefits and bonus opportunity. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in General or Geriatric Psychiatry. Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital opened Fall 2011 as a new area 80-bed inpatient behavioral health facility. Programs include inpatient services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults and some residential treatment. Structured patient care programs are staffed by multidisciplinary treatment teams with strong administrative and clinical support for our physicians. Orem, Utah adjacent to Provo is one of the principal cities of the Provo-Orem metropolitan areas approximately 45 miles south of Salt Lake City. The area is surrounded from all sides by mountains, is near canyons, rivers, and Utah Lake. Orem-Provo offers outdoors activities including fishing, kayaking, rafting, hunting, biking, camping, hiking, sight-seeing, and so much more.
